ADMISSIONS PROCESS/POLICY/TUITION

Triumph In Christ Bible Institute offers admission to students in four categories:
1. Regular students are those who wish to take courses for credit toward a diploma or certificate from Triumph In Christ Bible Institute.

2. Special students are those who wish to take courses without seeking a diploma or certificate from Triumph In Christ Bible Institute.

3. Transfer students are those who wish to take courses for credit toward a diploma or certificate from Triumph In Christ Bible Institute and have completed transferable credit hours from another accredited Bible College or Christian Institution of Learning.

4. Readmitted students are those who have withdrawn from Triumph In Christ Bible Institute and wish to return.

Applicants for regular admission must:
1. Submit a completed application with a $25.00 (non-refundable) application fee.

2. If applicable, request official transcripts from each institution of higher learning (Christian and/or Bible College) attended be sent directly to Triumph In Christ Bible Institute.

Special student applicants must:
Submit a completed application with a $25.00 (non-refundable) application fee.

Transfer applicants who have attended another Christian or Bible College or College must:
1. Submit a completed application form with a $25.00 (non-refundable) application fee.

2. Request an official transcript from each College attended be sent directly to Triumph In Christ Bible Institute. Transfer applicants should be eligible for readmission to, or should have graduated from, the last institution attended. Transfer applicants are encouraged to request advance evaluations of their transcripts to determine which courses will be accepted for transfer to Triumph In Christ Bible Institute and how credit will be applied

Applicants for readmission must:
1. Submit a completed application with a $25.00 (non-refundable) application fee.

2. If applicable, request official transcripts from each institution attended since withdrawing sent directly to Triumph In Christ Bible Institute.

Any student who has not attended Triumph In Christ Bible Institute within the last full academic year is considered an applicant for readmission. Triumph In Christ Bible Institute has a “rolling admission” policy. This means that each application is acted upon as soon as all necessary credentials arrive and the student is informed of the decision as soon as possible.

TUITION, BOOKS & FEES

Triumph In Christ Bible Institute has the philosophy that quality training of an individual for service to the Lord Jesus Christ should not leave that individual with an oppressive financial debt. Our approach is to provide the most affordable, quality Christian education that we can as a ministry to the Lord and to His servants.

Tuition for distance education program

The distance education program is designed for students who live outside of the the Raleigh-Durham area and can not attend classes at one of our satellite campuses but desires high quality coursework that addresses the spiritual and academic needs of the individual.

Distant Learning Students are assigned a mentor and have work requirements that are due in a timely manor, much like on campus students.

Tuition for distance education diploma programs include course material (printed or CD-ROM versions), and shipping & handling fees. For students outside of the United States, please request exact shipping cost.

*Students residing outside the U.S. must make payment in an International money order payable in U.S. dollars. Fees effective January 1, 2010

Tuition for on campus program

Our on campus program is suited for students residing in the Raleigh-Durham North Carolina area and desire a classroom setting. Tuition for on campus or satellite classes include course material.

Additional Fees:

Graduation Fee: $25.00

Transcript: $8.00

ACADEMIC SYSTEM

CREDIT SYSTEM: Triumph In Christ Bible Institute operates on a semester system. The unit for counting credit is the semester hour.

COURSE COMPLETION DATE: Students working towards their diploma by correspondence are allowed to complete at his/her own rate of progress. No pressure will be applied to finish at a particular speed, time or date.

GRADING SYSTEM

*NOTE: No Point Value is awarded for a grade below 60
 

REQUIREMENTS FOR GRADUATION: Student must have a GPA of 3.00.
